Final dissemination event for the Erasmus+ project "E-Procedure of Institutional Recognition of Foreign Higher Education Documents - EPIR"—which presented key results of the project aimed at improving recognition procedures for foreign higher education qualifications through digitalization and alignment with national legislation and European standards—took place on June 30 at the SPINIT Incubator.
As part of the project, University of Split analysed the existing legislative and institutional framework for recognizing foreign higher education qualifications and identified opportunities to modernize and digitize these procedures. Additionally, methodology and a training manual for users and staff were developed to ensure the successful implementation of the digital system.
The final dissemination event provided an opportunity to present project's achievements and to exchange experiences and best practices that will contribute to developing a more efficient, transparent and digitally supported system for recognizing foreign higher education qualifications.
The project began on December 31, 2023, and ran until June 30, 2026. The University of Novi Sad coordinated the project, with partners including Università Politecnica delle Marche, "1 Decembrie 1918" University of Alba Iulia, Republic of Serbia’s Qualifications Agency, and University of Split. Total project value was €250,000.00 and budget allocated to University of Split €45,000.00.
