There are two models of inter-institutional agreements:
- Cooperation with Programme Countries - this model of inter-institutional agreements is signed exclusively by Programme Countries (EU Member States, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Turkey, North Macedonia, Serbia)
- Cooperation with Partner Countries (International mobility involving third countries not associated to the Programme) - an agreement between a higher education institution from a Programme Country and a partner higher education institution from third countries not associated to the Programme
