The Falling Walls Lab SEA EU competition is once again coming to University of Split, bringing together young innovators, researchers and entrepreneurs wishing to present ideas with the potential for global impact. This year's event will take place on 6 and 7 July 2026 at University of Split’s School of Medicine. Falling Walls Lab is part of an international initiative that encourages breaking down “walls” in science, technology and society. Participants have only three minutes to present their innovation, research project or social idea to a panel of experts. Split’s edition of Falling Walls is organized by University of Split with the support of SEA EU Alliance and the project Science Comes to Town. Students and young researchers from Italy, Portugal, Spain, Germany, Croatia and Norway will present innovative ideas.
We invite students, professors, researchers, representatives of public and private sectors, as well as interested citizens to attend participants’ presentations. By participating in the SEA-EU Falling Walls Lab 2026, the audience will have the opportunity to:
- support the international community of young researchers and innovators
- learn about the latest research and innovative ideas by young talents from Europe
- connect with researchers, students and experts from different fields
- learn how science and innovation are transformed into social impact
Number of places is limited, and audience applications are open until July 1, 2026 at:
