University of Split, in collaboration with University of Naples, as part of the SEA-EU project, is organizing an international workshop titled "Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare Governance: Ethical and Regulatory Challenges in Europe," which will take place on April 20, 2026, at University of Split’s School of Medicine (BP21 conference hall).
The workshop will bring together experts from fields of ethics, law and application of artificial intelligence in healthcare, opening a discussion on current challenges within the European regulatory and governance framework. The program includes presentations and discussions concerning ethical responsibility in the age of artificial intelligence, aligning European digital legislation (AI Act, EHDS, etc.), public administration’s role and AI application in the healthcare system’s practical examples.
We invite all interested University of Split’s students and staff to join the workshop and actively participate in discussion.
